Daily prayer for President Obama. Heavenly Father, may President Obama be merciful, just as You are merciful. May he not judge so that he will not be judged, not condemn so that he will not be condemned, and forgive so that he will be forgiven. May he give so that gifts may be given to him, a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing, will be poured into his lap. For the measure with which he measures, will in return be measured out to him. Heavenly Father, You keep Your merciful covenant toward those who love you and observe your commandments! We, the people of this nation, have sinned, been wicked and done evil. We have rebelled and departed from your commandments and your laws. We have not obeyed your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our leaders and to all the people of the land. Justice, O Lord, is on your side. We are shamefaced even to this day. Forgive us Father. We make our prayer through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.
