#DailyAstrologyForecast for Monday, March 17, 2014: First of all, Happy St. Patrick’s Day! May the Luck of the Irish be with each and every one of you! Venus in Aquarius forms a quincunx with Jupiter in Cancer at 11:01AM setting up some tension between the two great benefic planets. These two are probably the most positive of all the planets, so it’s a rare occasion that they’re at odds. But there is a big difference between detached, airy Aquarius and sensitive, watery Cancer. And that is where the conflict lies, Aquarius is looking for freedom and Cancer wants commitment and emotional attachment. The trick is to find balance between the opposing energies. The Libra Moon makes two quick aspects at 2:03PM and 2:17PM. The first is a square to Jupiter followed by a trine to Venus. So here we have both Venus and Jupiter again involved with the emotional Moon thrown in the mix. But all is good, with the Moon in peace loving Libra and Jupiter in Cancer, which in naturally ruled by the Moon, the square is not a difficult aspect. And Libra is all about balance, which will even out the aloofness of Venus in Aquarius. Mercury moves out of aloof Aquarius and into sensitive Pisces at 3:24PM. This puts Mercury back at the place where it was when it went retrograde on January 31. We are given the opportunity to revisit the things that occurred before Mercury backtracked into Aquarius. Use this time to think about things. Is there anything you may wish you had done differently? You may have the chance for a do-over. This energy will be doubly powerful for the next four days, while the Sun is also in Pisces. With St. Paddy’s Day here, will we celebrate tonight, have some green beer, corned beef and cabbage, eat a bit too much, and imbibe too much? Well, we all are a little bit Irish, at least in spirit! And after the winter doldrums, don’t we deserve some fun? Yes, definitely, but in moderation, especially since the Moon squares Pluto at 7:11PM. The Libra Moon may want to have too much fun, while Pluto in stern, controlling Capricorn will be telling us to grow up and be responsible! Again, balance is the key. And you can always name a designated driver or call a cab or UBER. Better yet, don’t over indulge or you may be seeing Leprechauns before your head hits the pillow!
