Dakar 2015 Team HRC Rally unveils new line-up in Motorland Aragon The new HRC Rally Team was greeted with a warm reception from the press, as the new Dakar 2015 team was presented at the Motorland Aragon circuit, just one week ahead of the Morocco Rally. There was a certain buzz about the Moto GP hospitality suite at the Motorland Aragón circuit, for the launch of the new Team HRC 2015; unleashed upon a congregation of motorsport’s finest. Team HRC’s success continues to generate further press interest, and is now being chronicled over more and more column inches throughout the world. Livio Suppo, Communication and Marketing Manager at Honda HRC, and Team Head for the Repsol Honda Moto GP, opened the event welcoming all present. Martino Bianchi, General Manager of Team HRC Rally took charge of introducing the various members of the staff, such as the Head of Project Katsumi Yamazaki and Team Manager Wolfgang Fischer. Fischer introduced the riders of the Team HRC: Hélder Rodrigues, Paulo Gonçalves and Joan Barreda, who were welcomed to great applause. So too was the arrival of the team’s two newcomers Jeremías Israel and Laia Sanz into the makeshift auditorium. The highlight of the day proved to be the appearance of Marc Márquez and Dani Pedrosa, who both showed a great interest in the Honda CRF450 RALLY and offered their best wishes to Team HRC Rally in the run-in to the Dakar. Another of the day’s key points was the presence of KH-7 chairman , Josep María Lloreda, whose company will form part of the team this season. He pointed out that, With the agreement that has been drawn up between Laia Sanz and Honda HRC, we have been given the perfect opportunity to associate ourselves with KH-7’s top sporting ambassador and the greatest brand of motorcycle. We hope that the union will be very fruitful, and that Laila can finish the Dakar once more, and maybe even better last year’s result, although I realize that it’s a very tough race, and we should be cautious about making expectations. On the other hand, any one of the team members could win or be at the top, as they have all proved that they were able to in the past. It would be amazing if one of them were able to carry our brand to victory. Team HRC will be taking part in the Rally OiLibya in Morocco starting on October 3 from Erfoud and finishing in Marrakech.
