Damn.... This is a sad story. And ashame that these elderly ppl in Florida cant get or in some way dont qualify for healthcare. My Mom is 63 has arthritis in her lower back, hyper tention, old & new soft spots on her brain, and in the beginning stages of dimensia & its kinda the same scenerio.... She gets share of cost medicaid of $896 a month. Dont qualify for medicare til shes 65. Was denied already once for disability. In the process of appealing. Ive tried EVERYTHING to get her some sort of healthcare & nothing? Ins companies do nothing cause her issues are already exsisting so their answers are no. Its just crazy to me. Her brain is deterating and she cant qualify??? Florida is a screwed up state. Even the SS/Disability Dr (thats from NY) couldnt believe it when he read the paperwork. Sad shit.....
