Dan 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven - TopicsExpress

Dan 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. How can God set up His kingdom in the days of these kings when they all had kingdoms at different times? Romans 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: Romans 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. Spiritual = from the spirit of God to be applied to the inward man (the mind) Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. If the kingdom of God is with in us it has to be between our ears, it has to be in our minds. So to understand this verse we are going to get into the law inwardly. This is not milk it is meat. Milk is for babes. Meat is for someone who is growing in the Lord. Heb 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Dan 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Lets look at these kings that God is speaking about. Remember we are putting these kings inward. We have to because outwardly they were not all destroyed at the same time were they? You will see that inwardly they all can be destroyed at the same time! Babylon 606BC - 538BC Medo Persia 538BC - 331BC Greece 331BC- 168BC Rome 168BC - 476AD Babylon. The beast for Babylon is a lion. The unsanctified Lion = pride Psa 10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. Psa 10:5 His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them. Psa 10:6 He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity. Psa 10:7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity. Psa 10:8 He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor. Psa 10:9 He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net. Psa 10:10 He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones. Psa 10:11 He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it. Pro 30:30 A lion which is strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any; Someone who is full of pride has a hard time hearing the truth as it is in Jesus Christ. Lets look at the king of Babylon. Dan 4:30 The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? Do you see any pride in the king of Babylon? I have built by my might my power my majesty. All you can see is pride. Babylon = confusion about God. We are all kings and we are sitting on our thrones. A throne is where a king makes his decisions from. Most of the world are kings of Babylon sitting on there thrones in confusion about God and full of pride. Job 41:1 Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down? Job 41:15 His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal. Job 41:19 Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out. Job 41:34 He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride. The first kingdom is pride. Now lets go to the next kingdom. Medo Persia. The bear. Lets look at Medo Perisa’s problem. When they made a law they would not change it. I have five verses that will show us this. Dan 6:8 Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not. according to the law of the Medes and Persians which altereth not. Dan 6:12 Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the kings decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not. according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not Dan 6:15 Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed. That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed. Dan 6:17 And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel. that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel Est 1:19 If it please the king, let there go a royal commandment from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she. let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered. This is the unchanging heart. I do not care what you tell me nor how many bible verses you show me I am not going to change what I believe. The first king is the king of pride The second king is the king with the unchanging heart. Lets look at the third king. Greece. What was there problem? They had many Gods. The leopard was the animal for Greece Jer 13:23 Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil. What are these spots? 2Pe 2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption; 2Pe 2:13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; Jude 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Jude 1:13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. Greece = those who do not have understanding, they are blemished people who feed them self with out fear, they do not have the living waters from Christ, They cannot change their spots. The first king is the king of pride The second king is the king with the unchanging heart. The third king is the king with no understanding with spots that he can not change. Lets look at the fourth king. Rome. The undescript beast. What was Rome’s problem? Cesar was ruling the land. John 19:15 But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. They have rejected their messiah and did not even know they were doing it. They did not accept Christ as their king. Rome was a very cruel kingdom, placing people in bondage with irons chains and crucifying many people. The first king is the king of pride The second king is the king with the unchanging heart. The third king is the king with no understanding with spots that he can not change. The Fourth king is the king who is in bondage to sin because he has not let Jesus rule in his life as king of kings and Lord of Lords. Dan 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. In the days of these kings: The king of pride The king with the unchanging heart. The king with no understanding with spots that he can not change. The king who is in bondage to sin because he has not let Jesus rule in his life as king of kings and Lord of Lords. In the days of those kings God will set up a kingdom. Lets keep on going to see how it will be done. Rome fell from with in and when it fell it divided into ten tribes which later became ten nations. 1. The Alamanni (Germany) 2. The Visigoths (Spain) 3. The Franks (French) 4. The Suevi (Portugal) 5. The Burgundians (Switzerland) 6. The Anglo Saxons (England) 7. The Lombards (Italy) 8. The Heruli (They no longer exist they were destroyed by the Papacy) 9. The ostrogoths (They no longer exist they were destroyed by the Papacy) 10. The Vandals (They no longer exist they were destroyed by the Papacy) This is the feet and the clay. It is a divided kingdom. The feet and the clay are symbolic of the Papacy. Clay when it is used to build something it is hard and dry. A hard heart with out the living waters from above. The Papacy with all of its false teaching is in every kingdom. You either accept their teachings or they would wipe you out as they did the Heruli, the Ostrogoths and the Vandals. When the mind is divided it will not be able to stand! Luke 11:17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth. Mar 3:24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. This is what happened to cause the church in Rome to be corrupted. The pride, the unchanging hear, they had no understanding on how to change the spots with out Christ they can not be changed they were in bondage to sin because he has not let Jesus rule in his life as king of kings and Lord of Lords. So the Papacy was formed by these men in this condition. The feet are symbolic of the heart, the direction of the mind. That is where the heart of man is until: Dan 2:45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. The Stone who is Christ. Mat 21:42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lords doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? Now this great stone (Christ) breaks into pieces the iron the brass the clay the silver the gold. He does this by breaking the feet into pieces and the whole thing comes down and the last to hit is what is on top the head of Gold, Babylon the pride and it hits the hardest because it is the hardest thing that we have that we have to let go of. This is what God destroys in our life: The pride, the unchanging hear, no understanding on how to change the spots (without Christ they can not be changed) the bondage to sin because we have not let Jesus rule in our life as king of kings and Lord of Lords. These things are in our hearts and they must go. God must give us a new heart. Dan 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. When God destroys these things in the heart of man His kingdom will stand forever in our minds. Remember the kingdom of God is with in you!
