Dan Ballast, Babette Ballast and Lu Hawley are all in Manila, Philippines today. Lu is in Manila working on her Thai visa so she can return to her Co-Serve work in Thailand. And, they are also waiting for the arrival of Keeki and Tikolo - the Karen leaders of the KLDP, on Sunday. Lu, Keeki and Tikolo have been planning to come see the work at the Center for Servant Leadership Philippines (CSLP) with a number of activities starting next week. As it turns out, super typhoon Hagupit is headed on a path directly toward Mindoro and CSLP. They will all temporarily be stranded in Manila, because the boats are no longer running between the mainland and the island of Mindoro. Also, Dans two boys and all of their community at CSLP will be weathering out the storm without them. Please keep all of them in your prayers.
