Dan-you forgot to mention the implied slander of Dino and by further implication, Skip. Wellman said he fired Dino for one reason only, to win more in March. Then, when that quickly fell apart Wellman fell back to what I called the implied slander, which were various euphemisms spouted by Wellman about the type of player buzz recruited when compared to Dino. There was never any substantiation that Dino was anything but upstanding. At times, even recent ones, you were even publishing those types of statements. That was all a cop out by Wellman and it denigrated Dinos name. So no, I dont forgive Wellman for his utter incompetence as to the buzz hiring, the cronyism involved in that hiring, the outright refusal to admit a mistake and the dragging of Dinos name through the mud. Im not willing to forgive yet and I wish Wellman was gone too.
