Dana Santas is creator of Radius Yoga Conditioning, a yoga and sports training style designed to help athletes move, breathe and focus in ways that enhance performance and decrease injury. Specializing in professional sports, Dana is currently the team yoga trainer for the Tampa Bay Lightning, Pittsburgh Pirates and Philadelphia Phillies, as well as sports mobility consultant to more than half a dozen other teams and hundreds of athletes in MLB, NHL, NBA, NFL and MLS (and the Olympics). Nicknamed the “Mobility Maker,” Dana is an E-RYT, who formerly ran a 200-hr teacher training program. Dana earned her B.A. cum laude from Tufts University, and received additional training through the American College of Sports Medicine, the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the Postural Restoration Institute. Radius Yoga Conditioning (RYC) is Dana’s hybrid style of yoga and functional mobility based on her “ABC’s of Yoga™” (Alignment, Breath & Core) that emphasizes alignment/restoration of the kinetic chain, utilizing proper breathing mechanics, and awareness & engagement of the core (including the pelvis & hips) as the integrative center of functional strength, mobility and balance. Dana is a regularly featured expert in national media, including Oxygen, Shape and Men’s Health, and on sports networks, including the NHL Network, MLB, Fox Sports, and others. A recurring guest on the nationally syndicated show Daytime, shes also a contributor to Turner Broadcastings wellness brand upwave.
