Dang. Meat eaters cant catch a break. I knew this already, but for them to publicize it...again... I think the real goal is to see how sheep-like people are. Will meat sales drop when people see this? If not, then it shows the powers that be that they can do anything they want to people and they wont do anything about it. Frankly, sad as it sounds, I dont think meat sales will drop. Most people are sheep...and/or addicted, so their habits will remain and they will pretend this is not true, even though put out by a major news source. Its a sad truth, but Ive seen it unfold this way far too many times with people I personally know. Very troubling. While I no longer eat meat, it still saddens me that those who eat meat cant be shown more respect. And the poor animals! They are dealt with so inhumanely for the sake of a dollar. Carnivores exist on the planet, but at least they kill only for their immediate food needs. This culture of money kills animals for financial gain. Not good for the animals who under normal conditions would not be slaughtered in such abundance and treated so inhumanely. Anyhoo, its things like these why I stopped eating meat (among several other reasons). I cant do it. These corporations are disgusting and I wont participate in supporting their disgusting agenda. I also do it for my health (i mean really, carbon monoxide??) given that meat actually reacts in our bodies adversely, and for the animals that dont deserve the abuse they are enduring.
