Daren made this precious video for my 70th Surprise birthday party and Im putting it on my home page to relive those awesome memories my fabulous family made for me! I wish you all could have been at dVeers on Dec. 22nd where I was greeted with a crowd of family waving fans with my picture on it! I was told by my immediate family that I wasnt to make anything for my birthday meal and I should have known that something was up when Leroy was gone all day running errands! He came back bearing a wonderful meal from BCs BBQ in Old Towne and then I was told that they were taking me out for ice cream after I had opened all my lovely gifts! They all left and I was to go with Leroy but then the doorbell rang and there stood my sister, Aleda! I was shocked but was told to ride with her, I thought to Braums in Newton but when we stopped at dVeers all was dark with no cars seen. Aleda told me that Shari needed something at dVeers so we went in to my complete amazement and what a party we had! Leroy had a dozen gorgeous red roses adorning a table loaded with goodies...a German chocolate cake adorned with 70 candles and made from scratch by Shari and her famous peppernuts, cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory with raspberry topping made by Shari, Braums ice cream, red holiday M &Ms, punch (made by Shari) and coffee. There was a fun program planned by the kids with Shari emceeing it! My sisters, Lori, (by letter) and Aleda told of hilarious experiences we shared followed by list of 70 things our family appreciated about me and a game of Ramona Bingo creatively done by Sarah, Brett and Shari. The last thing was a treasured and expertly done video of my life in pictures from birth to now by Daren! I am overcome with gratefulness to God for my precious family who planned such a wonderful surprise for my 70th birthday! To God by the Glory, Great Things He has Done! Thank you, for all the lovely cards I got for my card shower...what a stack! Than you from the bottom of my heart for everyone who had a part in celebrating with me! I know Im prejudiced but I think I have the best family EVER! They have done so much for me and I love you more than I can ever express!
