Darjeeling Hills Celebrate Teej The festival of Teez, celebrated by married Hindu women seeking longevity and prosperity of their husbands, was today celebrated across the hills with great enthusiasm. In Darjeeling the main function was held at Chowrasta.. In Kalimpong it was held at Hanuman Mandir in Bong Busty and Thakur Bari Mandir Women clad in bright red saris offered prayers and celebrated the occasion with dances and songs.
