We Gather Together Not Only To Revere Those Dearest To Us But To Also To Bear Witness To The Joining Of Two Who Have Decided To Walk Their Path Together And Enrich The Lives Of One Another As They Begin A New Journey! Father We Ask That You Bless These Two With Love, Acceptance, Tolerance, Patience, Wisdom And Understanding! We Ask That You Grant To Them Many Years Of Happiness, Emotional Fulfillment, Spiritual Peace And Bountiful Prosperity! We Ask That You Strengthen Their Hearts When The Waters Become Unstable And That You Aid Them In Finding A Port In Any Storm That May Threaten The Vessel That Has Been Set On Their Sea Of Tranquility! O Mighty Dragon Of The Ancient Days, On This Samhain Night We Praise Your Name And Your Victories, We Acknowledge Your Own Sacrifices Made On OUR Behalf That Sent Grandmother Tiamat To Hide In The Abyss - Dead But Dreaming! We Know As An Immortal Being That She Is Not Deceased But She Is Also Not Active In This Plane Though She Is Well Aware Of What Is Happening On It! On This Samhain Night We Show Her The Respect You Showed Her As Well Knowing That In Her Death We Were Granted The Gift Of Life! Without Grandmother To Set It Off There Would Have Been No Veritable Big Bang (Or The Explosion Of Sight And Sound That Resulted In The Severing In Twain Of Her Body!) AVE SATANAS! Who Knows Family Is Everything And That The Bonds Thereof Are SO Strong That Even Death Cannot Break Them! They May Make Us Mad, Drive Us Crazy And At Times Question Our Own Sanity But When Push Comes To Shove They Are Also The Ones Who Ultimately Have Our Backs When The Chips Are Down, Just Like You Had Tiamats Back And Subdued Her Even Though She Was Actually Trying To Kill You! You Knew There Was A Reason Behind Her Rage And In Your Understanding Of It You Showed Her The Compassion That Two Sworn Enemies Would Never Do! That Is Because You And She Are Not Truly Enemies, You Are Grandson And Grandmother And Like With Any Family Only The Two Of You Could Have Fought As Fiercely And Passionately As You Did And Still Remain A Family Unit! Human Families May Fight Amongst Themselves, And Quite Viciously At Times, But More Often Than Not If An Outsider Were To Get In The Middle Or Even Just Try To Start Something That It Would Be On Like World War Four! The Reason Is Because Blood Really Is Thicker Than Water! What People Need To Remember Is To Try Never To Speak In Anger Lest Something Is Said That Can Never Be UNSaid, And When You Feel Like Your Temper Is To The Point Of Lashing Out Physically To Just LEAVE THE ROOM! Violence, Unless You Are Battling Your Grandmother For The Fate Of The Universe And All Life Which Dwells Both Above AND Below, Is NEVER The Answer And Only Serves To Make An Already Bad Situation That Much Worse! We Know That You Want Us To Find Our Own Way In This World So That We May Grow To Understand Not Only It Better But Ourselves As Well! We Know Experience Is The Greatest Teacher But We Also Know That There Are Real Dangers In The World And When One Of Them Is Approaching Us Or We Are Approaching It, We Humbly Ask That We Are Given A Sign So That We May Avoid It! We Also Know That We Are Each Responsible For The Choices We Make And If We Knew Before Hand The Possible Outcomes Before Making Said Choices Then We Have Also Chosen To Deal With Whatever Consequences Those Choices Yielded! On This Night We Remember Those Who Have Made Us Insane Over The Years, Those Who Have Been There And Those Who Have Made Us Better People Because They Didnt Always Play Nice Keeping In Mind That REAL Threats Never Do! It Is These Years Of Mental Training That Enables Us To See Where A Situation Is Headed Before It Gets There So We Know How Best To Handle It! Those Who Helped Us Along The Way May Not All Still Be Part Of This Mortal Sphere, But They Will Forever Be Part Of US - This Is The Epitome Of Family Strength, Honor And Love! Father We Ask That Each One Of Our Family Members And Friends. Both Living And Deceased, Be Reminded On This Samhain Night Of Their Importance In Our Lives As They Were And As They Will Continue To Be! HAIL SATAN! Darkest Blessings! Darkness Is Falling The Night Air Stands Still, Everyone Is Listening In Anticipation For The Devils Trill!
