Darkness shortly after 5PM is a sure sign of Winter and cooler - TopicsExpress

Darkness shortly after 5PM is a sure sign of Winter and cooler weather. With the exception of Tuesday, the winter feel will surely be felt for the foreseeable future with some storm potentials over the next several weeks. As we celebrate Veterans Day Tuesday under a mix of clouds and sun, we will also likely have our last Mild 60+ degree day of this year, so do take advantage of the nice day to get any outdoor projects completed as temps take a plunge from Thursday and beyond. Computer guidance continues to indicate very chilly air will be filtering into Lebanon County and staying around for a while. How chilly you may ask? Daytime high temps from Thursday and beyond look to stay in the LOW 40s, with overnight lows crashing into the low 30s to upper 20s. Compared to how it has felt the past several weeks, this air mass will truly bring the winter feel to are area. Some of you may have been hearing rumors about the beloved or in some cases, the dreaded S word. We are keeping our eyes on a few potential storm systems that may try to impact our area over the next several weeks but please do note that they are merely potentials and NOTHING is a guarantee especially this far out. I know some of you are excited for the winter weather, and others are dreading it... but one thing is for sure, we will be watching and updating all of you with any threats that may be nearing. One such potential or rumor is a storm system on the computer guidance from about a week from today. Long range guidance will change, so rumors may float around. If and when we feel a threat is nearing we will post the info you need to know... otherwise, rumors will be just that. Have a great Monday evening everyone. ~Justin
