Darn you smoke detector low battery warning alarm! How dare you wake me up at 6:30 in the morning! GRRRRR!!! You mock me with your incessant once every minute beep, perched on my bedroom ceiling 12 feet up. You laugh because you know I cannot reach you. Aware that the tallest piece of furniture I possess capable of supporting my weight leaves me woefully short of reaching you, you taunt me with your beeps. Like a worm tunneling into the depths of the Earth, your beeps burrow into the recesses of my mind. I must stop you my mighty beeping nemesis, or die trying.
