There was a time when gurkhas entitlement for LSA days were not included in thier LSA days entitlement days. Because the more the days the more the level and daily wages. Like if u deployed in operational tour or exercise more then 10 working days their lsa days will be counted but non of the gurkhas got those days counted untill 2004 afterwards. The point here is, the more someone actually looks into the abuse and mistreatment of Gurkhas in the British Armed Forces, or talks with more and more Gurkhas and their families, you always learns more about what happen within the Gurkhas and how Gurkha and how their families were treated totally differently from everyone else in the British Army. To those of us who come from HM FORCES Families, you actually start to wonder if there was two different Armys in HM FORCES, one for British, Commonwealth and Allied Nations Personnel served in. Another for the Gurkhas, also this was deliberate ethnic discrimination against the Gurkhas, by their own British white& English Army Officers too?, along with condoned and authorized by Senior British Army General’s, with the full knowledge and agreement of Senior Civil Servants in the MoD and other Government Departments, finally under the personal consent and permission of Defence and Cabinet Minister’s or Prime Ministers too?. Otherwise it would mean, Government Minister’s, Senior Civil Servants and/or General’s, or even the Joint Chief’s of Staff, had failed in their duties to monitory and control let alone give proper leadership, they were nothing more than a absentee landlord as far as Gurkha’s in the British Army was and is concerned. Leaving All the Gurkha’s and their Families, to be mistreated and abused by the Brigade of Gurkha’s own Senior “white & English” Army Officer’s for years and years, while the MoD in Whitehall either wish to know nothing, or they just turned a blind eyes and deaf ears to the years of abuse and mistreatment Gurkha’s were subjected too, or wrongful denial of Gurkha’s Human and Welfare Rights, plus Gurkha Full Legal Entitlements. None of which has the Gurkha Inquiry in any way investigated properly or questioned openly Army Officers, Civil Servants and/or Minister of State or Gurkha Welfare Trust Official’s, over publicly and before Gurkha’s, the News Media and the General Public, this is why the Gurkha Inquiry cannot be trusted!. This is what was wrong with the Gurkha Inquiry under Jackie Doyle-Price (con) MP leadership, she would not allow the Gurkha Inquiry to fully investigate all Gurkha Welfare Issues properly, therefore this Gurkha Inquiry is not worth the paper it is written on, because it failed its major duty to investigate wrong doing, abuse and mistreatment or denial of Gurkha’s and their Families Legal Rights since 1947 to 2014. Clear it now seems and because it is a Gurkha Inquiry, that Prime Minister David Cameron and the Conservatives, wanted written for their own self interests basically. The Conservative Leadership in no way wanted a true independent public inquiry, look into the true facts over Gurkha welfare rights issues, let alone looking into the mistreatment and abuse or the total denial of these Gurkha welfare rights, lastly looking to who was responsible for this taking place, in the fear it would directly lead back to Conservative Party and Politician’s plus Conservative Minister’s current serving or former Conservative Minister and some are members of the Lords now?. The Gurkha Inquiry, was not more than a Political Cover UP, to keep the Conservative skeletons looked away in the cupboard, over the Conservatives own involved in the abuse, mistreatment of and very much the wrongful and illegal denial of Gurkha’s and their Families TRUE Human and Welfare Rights, plus Gurkha’s and their Families FULL Legal Entitlements by the United Kingdom Government and/or any part or agents on its behalf. The real question now is and will Politician’s from Labour, Lib Dem’s plus other smaller Parties in the House of Common’s and House of Lords, UKIP, Green’s, Plaid Cymur, SNP or those from Northern Ireland too. Actually stand up for Gurkha’s Rights who live in their own MP’s area’s in the UK, or even will they stand up for All Gurkha Rights FULL STOP, therefore now openly question the Gurkha Inquiry and its so called questionable finding and even more questionable recommendations to the Coalition Government?. That is all publicly in the House of Common’s and in the news media, especially leading upto the 2015 general Election?. Especially over giving basically Millions or tens of Millions of Pound, of basically Tax Payer’s Money, even if it is money recovered from fines paid by the Bank and financial Services Providers, that is giving these Million’s of Pounds to Gurkha Welfare Truste / Gurkha Welfare scheme. Which is basically GWT/GWS is own and run by Brigade of Gurkha’s Association and headquarters Brigade of Gurkha’s Senior “White & English” British Army (i.e. either Current Serving or Retired) Officer’s very people the Gurkha charge with abusing and mistreating the Gurkha’s and their families. To provide as Jackie Doyle-Price (con) MP says, better health care in Nepal for Gurkha Veteran’s and their Families, the only problem here is it seem the Department of Health has already been giving GWT/GWS, BGA’s and HQBG British Tax Payer’s money to provide health care and medical treatment, medication to Gurkha Veteran’s and their Families. There were two British Military Hospital’s in Nepal, one in East Nepal and one in West Nepal, paid for by the British NHS it seems, back in the 1960’s early 1970’s according to Gurkha’s. However, because of so called or MoD Defence Cut’s or British Government Cuts, by you guess it by a past Conservative Government in London, these two British Military Hospital’s were closed, but the Department of Health and/or NHS it seems carried on paying Money to HQBG, BGA’s and/or GWT/GWS, to provide ongoing FREE Health Care, Medical Treatment and FREE Medication, via local medical services in Nepal?. The problem is Gurkha’s are say this did not happen, so where did all this British Tax Payer’s Money, via the Department of Health and NHS which was given to HQBG, BGA’s and/or GWT/GWS, go to if it was not used to provideFREE Health Care, Medical Treatment and FREE Medication, to Gurkha Veteran’s and their Families in Nepal?. Maybe the likes of present Coalition Health Ministers, Norman Lamp MP for example, should be questioned in the House of Common’s, how much British Tax Payers Money did DoH/NHS give to HQBG, BGA’s and/or GWT/GWS?. Along with questions asked like, when was this money (i.e. dates from and to) given?, also is it still being given too?, who authorized this public money to be given to HQBG/BGA’s/GWT/GWS?, what independent monitoring and checks were carried out if any into how it was used and spent plus by whom?. Or maybe this is now an issue for the Health Select Committee to investigate, also hold public hearing into and question present and former Health and Defence Minister’s over, as well as question present and former Civil Servants in the DoH and MoD over too. Lastly very much publicly question present and former Senior General’s in the MoD, though more importantly question publicly present and former Brigade of Gurkha’s Officer’s and Official’s of GWT/GWS, BGA’s and very much HQBG over at Public Hearing in front of the Gurkha’s charging them with wrong doing now too. Because if the health Committee MP’s, look into this properly, it could very well expose the Gurkha Inquiry for the fraud it is and most Gurkha now class it as, a total betray of ALL Gurkha’s and ALL Gurkha Families. Especially by Jackie Doyle-Price (con) MP, as of now she has none or very few Gurkha Friends. For her person betrayal of Gurkha’s TRUE Human and Welfare Rights, plus their FULL Legal Entitlements, from what we are being told by Gurkha’s, also local Gurkha will not be vote Conservative for Jackie Doyle-Price in may 2015. They Gurkha’s and their families locally, along with British Veteran’s and their Families, are more likely to vote UKIP now, instead David Cameron another seat to lost or will be lost to UKIP at the General Election in May 2015!. But the real question after the Gurkha Recruit and Training Camp in Indian closed down, who purchased these properties in Nepal?, who owners them now?, where did the money come from to buy them?, also provided the money to build these camps as a gated closed off British Camps?. Or is the British Tax Payer’s paying the rent for these British Army Camp’s, also who is this rent being paid too, HQBG?, BGA’s?, GWT/GWS?, or to the Nepalese Government?, or some third party organisations and who owns this third party organisations?, maybe former Gurkha / British Officer’s?. Or even if the MoD or the real owners of these British Army Camp’s in Nepal, are they paying proper local Taxes to the Nepalese Government, because Gurkha’s question this too?. Maybe MP’s should now ask David Cameron, at the next Prime Minister Question Time in the House of Common’s, to public answer these growing Gurkha questions?. As the Gurkha Inquiry under Jackie Doyle-Price (con) MP, did not even look into these?/ Why, is also the question All MP’s should be asking now too, why did the Gurkha Inquiry not investigate ALL raised Issues, by All Gurkha’s who were and are openly complaining and questioning these Welfare Issues?.
