Dated 23 Nov 2013 - clearly Matt Damon. First time Ive seen this. My sense is we are very near a global tipping point. People everywhere have had enough of the excesses of old power. The aged steely fingers of wealth desperately fighting to maintain the status quo. Young Israelis wish to work with their fellow Palestinians. The so called tribal wars in Iraq and Syria are real only to extremists wielding guns supplied by Russia, China, and - yes, The United States. Until the police and armed militias invaded them - they broke bread together. As late as the 1970s - the border between the US and Mexico was fully open. Festivals were celebrated on both sides of the Rio Grand and all of the families on each shore knew, loved, and helped one another. A river flowing through the center of a shared community. We the people of Planet Earth know it isnt a question of whether climate change is happening because of human activity. It really doesnt matter. It is the wrong question. Pollution is wrong. Waste is wrong. Greed is wrong. The Earth is a small satellite alone in space and to foul its resources is wrong. The people of Earth have now linked in knowledge via the Internet. I sense a tipping point. Thank you, Matt Damon.
