Daughters of Zion, let me ask a question and please give me your honest feedback. Last week at church my 28 year old daughter had an older woman approach her and disapprovingly look her up and down with disdain and almost spit at her when she said, They just come up in here (meaning the church) looking any kind of way. To say the least, my daughter was highly offended. She was not dressed as a old maid yet she was not dressed like the club either. She had on a mid thigh skirt with black fish net stocking, pretty high heels, a button up shirt with a stylish jacket on, small earrings and one ring. She was dressed similarly to the photo on the left whereas the photo on the right is how she dresses when she goes out. Now, if my daughter were dressed inappropriately, Id be the first to chastise her. And we wonder why so many of our young people either dont go to church or dont believe in the church. This ladys comments were so judgmental. Weigh in on this, please.
