David Frost conducted an interview with Kasparov for Aljazeera last week. At 17:50 the voice in the movie speaks of pogroms of Armenians in Baku (this was in Sumgait, yet the video wrongly and with false confidence states that it was Baku, Lenin square with the images of the Soviet invasion of Baku on 20 January 1990). They fail to mention 1 million Azeri refugees from Armenia and ethnic cleansing in Nagorno Karabakh which happened since 1988...This is a one side story told of a complex historical and ethnic issue. I am not saying that ethnic cleansing of Armenians by Arezis has not happened, but that it happened on both sides. The movie, for dramatic effect, displays profound bias. Unprofessional and ultimately unethical are the only words I have for this.
