David Janssen in his second and final TV series, which co starred Anthony Zerbe, who won an Emmy for his role as Lt Trench. He later blew up, thanks to Robert Davi, in Licence to Kill; and was lobotomized by the villains in STAR TREK: INSURRECTION. I had the opportunity to meet Zerbe in 1978, when Michael Learned and he appeared at the Tampa Theater. And, even though I refrained from addressing Miss Learned as Olivia Walton, when getting their autographs, the first thing that slipped out of my mouth, after I got Zerbes was Thank you, Lt Trench! He loved it!
