The club confirmed via their official Twitter account that the centre-back is still carrying a hamstrong problem which ruled him out of the clash with Serie A side. The ex-Benfica defender has been heavily linked with a summer move awayfrom Stamford Bridge, as arcelona prepared to bid €29 million to try to bring him to Spain. However, Mourinho has stated the Brazil international will not be leaving the club although he conceded he hopes to help Luiz to improve his game defensively. Chelsea take on Real Madrid on August 8 at 02:00 GMT in the final of the International Champions Cup at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami.
