David Okun 2 mins · True, 2006 seems such a long time indeed. Now, the tamed General David Sejusa languishes helplessly in exile in the UK. It is also such a nasty way to eat one’s own words. General Sejusa, like is failed boss Museveni, along with their nasty NRM boogie war machines, have suffered a cruel defeat at the hands of justice and truth. Sejusa, like Museveni and their NRM/A cohorts, are monsters from darkest dens of hell. They are the very vampires who fed on the flesh and blood of many Ugandans for greed for power and wealth. Now they have got both and sought to lure more people to a deadlier and stealthy trap. The NRM and Sejusa, along with Museveni and their mad dogs knew little about democracy and peaceful dispensations of government and politics when they took up arms and fled to the bush to wage a criminal war against a democratically elected government of Milton Obote’s UPC. All these in the face of a humiliating defeat Museveni and the UPM suffered at that 1980’s general elections. What bothered Sejusa and Museveni, together with their fellow morons was UPC and Obote’s winnings of elections in Uganda. Museveni and those of Sejusa could not dare to stomach electoral defeats, and that was the essence of their rebellion and anger which fetched them to the bush to fight. They had no vision for Uganda or for Ugandans at all. The only thing they wanted was power and money, and that was exactly what they got; at the cost of many lives and livelihoods. Uganda today remains a ghost country. Corruption has eroded every progress since independence. Violent fighting of futile wars has killed many and destroyed the country. Today, Sejusa is in exile; running away from Yoweri Museveni. He is not running away from Milton Obote or the UPC; which he fought, while destroying the country. Sejusa knows absolutely nothing about ‘African people’s emancipation’. If he did, he would not have created so many problems in Uganda. He, and his fellow bandits in the NRM/A, fed on lies and treacheries to destroy any vestige of hope for Uganda and Africa. In 1986, the National Resistance Army did not win any war; nor did it defeat anyone. Museveni and their fellow barbarians had lost the war and fled the country. Were it not for Tito and Bazillio toppling Obote’s government and erroneously handing over power to the NRM/A under a failed Nairobi peace talks, Museveni and his fellow bandits would never have seen or tasted power. Nearly thirty years on, the MRM brutes have held Ugandans hostage. Sejusa today has become the victim of his own insanity. He rots in the dungeon of exile in Britain. He can now tell us whether he ran here to seek economic refuge. Today, Sejusa and Museveni, with the help of their former bandits have created a monolithic structure of state and government, which wreak perpetual havoc on the peace and democracy of the country. It is the kind of autocracy totally oblivious to rule by consent and progress. Sejusa and Museveni, with their crowds should learn that peace does not come by force of arms; it comes with negotiations and through the ballots box. Today, the NRM or Sejusa and the likes have become experts in vote riggings. They constantly reject any attempt to reform the electoral systems, along with all the necessary tools for free and fair elections. To date, no Ugandan has permitted the NRM and their agents to rule the country. The government have spent trillions and more on militarising the country, while stealing from the state purse at will. Public services are at zero functions, while families and friends take for themselves; only to call the wealth their private businesses and assets. The country is divided between the haves and the haves not; between the Movement supporters and the oppositions; between First and commoner’s families; and between those from the Western and the rest. In Museveni’s talent of wealth, those with the regime get everything; while the rest wait for God to come and rescue them.
