David Threatt is a wonderful dad - thats all I know him as...not my step-dad, though I use that term to clarify questions from people sometimes. :) I may call him David but thats all Ive ever known...I guess it was easier that way when I was little. He has always been there for me - showing me how to ride a bike even though he let me run off the rode into a metal fence (I think I had a helmet on) :); not letting Olivia or myself get back in the boat on Lake Norman until we got up on our skies and skied; and even though we held up traffic both ways on Main St in Kannapolis while he tried to teach me how to drive a stick shift...I would say most of my memories are good. :) jk haha David has inspired me in more ways than one - from his singing in church back in the day (yes people he did that) to being the first person who hugged my neck when I stood up and turned around after giving my life to Jesus. He has always treated me equally with Olivia, hes always taken care of my mom and now he is a wonderful Papaw!! To the man who walked me down the aisle at my wedding - I love you!! I am very thankful to have a wonderful step-dad!!
