David and Joyce, I wanted to thank you for making the most of a very unpleasant situation and I want to have our experience make available to other potential customers who will face similar problems. Relative to the “mitigation” (I learned the technical description) and repair related to the flood at our home, your team hugely reduced the stress level and made us feel that you were also working to protect our interests with the insurance company (which you recall was not smooth). As you know, we arrived in Collingwood to make sure the house was in shape to show as we listed it for sale. We were on the way to our summer home and had a lot of obligations so the flooded basement was a huge disruption that we needed to try to sort out in a short time. The alarm failed ( a significant factor in the flood) but they were very quick to recommend your service to stop additional damage and to deal with the insurance company to negotiate on our behalf re the repairs. From that point on, your team simply handled the problem efficiently and with a very pleasant demeanor. The advice you provided to both improve the look of the “new basement” and to conserve costs was another bonus in working with you. I would strongly recommend that anyone in a similar circumstance should talk to you before they jump into a complicated and stressful situation.
