Davincis demons on STARz is an awesome show! i love it, just started watching it couple days ago and did the marathon bid, 18 episodes for season 1 and 2, midway through second season and still loving it. If youre looking for a spot on historical record of de Vinci, this IS NOT it. Watch one of the numerous documentaries on him then. Preferably not from the history channel if you want anything somewhat actually researched and you can rely on. It does remarkably blend in a very enthralling, entertaining mix of legend, rumor, fantasy, and magic relating to the old fallen religion of the roman empire (particularly higher ranking soldiers and eastern part of the roman empire, Mithraism) which in this take on the religion (not very accurate) has the followers as lost magicians who become sages who can travel the river of time. Now this all might sound a bit nuts, but its put together as good as game of thrones, is very high quality, and surprisingly for me, a real butthole for things of historical accuracy i cant get enough of it. writers, cinematography and the artists of the show are extraordinary to say the least, plus you get to see BOOBS, and even really long awkward Shillong (thanks spellcheck) once. probably an ode to HODOR from game of thrones _wink wink ladies_ HODOR
