As a system of inspiring teachings and practices it offers practitioners skillful means in turning their mind into a strong ally on the path to liberation and utilizing this precious human life as a rich source of contribution to the benefit and well being of all sentient beings. Bodhi Path Buddhist Centers are unique in offering a systematic curriculum of practices and study. Following this tradition, Bodhi Path Center of Santa Barbara offers both general dharma talks for those new to the dharma and curriculum courses for those who are committed to spiritual practice. In October, resident teacher Dawa Tarchin Phillips is offering one of these curriculum courses. Those wishing to attend need to register for the course. Santa Barbara patrons are paying a reduced fee. The registration fees are an important contribution towards the overhead of the center. A general dharma course will be offered after the completion of this curriculum course. About the Teacher: Appreciated by students for his joy, insight and clarity of presentation, Dawa Tarchin Phillips combines the unique perspective of a Western international upbringing with the traditional training of an authentic Buddhist Lama.
