Belfast U.K.: Pastor James McConnell of the Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle church is accused of a Hate Crime after he preaches a sermon stating that “Islamic faith is satanic, a doctrine spawned in hell….there are good Muslims in Britain….that may be so but I don’t trust them” Republic of Kazakhstan: Aleksandr Kharlamov, an atheist faces 7 years in jail for a Hate Crime: “My criticism of religion was interpreted as incitement of religious enmity and strife. There’s no crime. There’s no incitement of religious enmity. I criticized all religions – I didn’t choose just one.” Egypt: Coptic Christian teacher Bishoy Camille was charged with “contempt of religion” a hate crime against Islam because he “insulted Islam” when he posted his cartoon of Muhammad on Facebook. He was sentenced to 4 years in prison, and a fine of 10 thousand pounds.
