Day 1 - Amsterdam.. I came I saw I conquered..the Dutch really are the masters of the sea, I am impressed at their ability to reclaim sea to convert it into useful lands. Even sea water is converted to fresh water...You would think canals would be major transportation but that is far from reality. The city has some 16 million bicycles, yup you read that right. to find your bicycle in the middle of those million is really the epitome of needle in a haystack. but all in all the cafes are the best thing in this city.
