Day 1-Had an amazing dinner last night at an iron chef restaurant - TopicsExpress

Day 1-Had an amazing dinner last night at an iron chef restaurant in Waikiki. Really beautiful. And had a couple sit down next to us that we started a conversation with. Ended up talking through most of our meal. They were from Northern California and we were from Mississippi, but somehow realized we were one degree of separation from knowing each other through mutual friends. To travel half way around the globe to find that the world is such a small place. We are so close to connection everyday. Makes me so aware of how we see people in a day. How often I look through people in a day because I am deep in thought or focused in on something. And not that I think it is wrong to be lost in my own world, but to be conscious it isnt a bubble but a road with other drivers on it. Drivers who can effect the outcome of a day, or move your energy in a better direction. That couple was such a reminder of sharing the road, of smiling and making contact with the people near you on this journey because it makes the joy that Brennan and I experience bigger. Its why I write on fb about this honestly. It makes me responsible to my joy and making sure that I share the road on joy. So today we are all going to smile and see people. Really see them. And maybe, meet someone new, and show them who we really are. Even if just for a dinner....I guess you never know what the mystery of that moment creates. I met my husband in one of those odd moments and my world shifted....hmmm, such a journey. And helping matters is the woman who just IDed me at the airport bar. Pure joy, I tell you, pure joy! Lol Spread love and laughter
