Day 1 if thankfulness challenged (as challenged by Serene Lew) 1. The clothes are sun dried! The weather has been crazy these few days and Im finding it so tough to get that sun kissed smell in my laundry. So it was great to get that today! 2. Tried out recipe for cola chicken. It was ok... But Im so glad I tried and learnt from my mistakes. :) 3. The chicken nuggets I made today were a success! And this leads to point 4... 4. So thankful to my mother Seow Lian Tan for helping me try out the nuggets recipe yesterday and for cutting the chicken breasts into the right size despite her busyness. She has been a great cooking resource and is ever so ready to offer her assistance in me and my family. I am very blessed to have her in my life and I appreciate all the sacrifices she made for me. (啊。。。妈，我是要谢谢您帮我买，准备，及试煮鸡肉块。如果没有您的帮忙，我想我应该不会有时间，精力，和勇气学习这么多新的东西。真的能感受您对我们的关爱。谢谢！) 5. Had a good time with cousins family and friend today when they came over to watch the ndp parade with us! It was really nice to just chat with cousins wife and share our lives with one another. Hope to have another gathering at my place soon!
