If it works great. If not dont worry back off and just work on your foot off the ground one inch. So in this version you will see on an inhale I raise my arms and my working leg knee even with my hip. And on the exhale I push my foot back and hinge at my hips. Hold a 3-5 breaths. Feel yourself reaching through the whole body from head to foot and continuing to grow the whole pose. Find a little something to look at while holding the pose.
