Day#15. Thank you my Lord for another day ! Thank you Lord that its warm and cozy in this house ! And thank you for good home made vegetable soup on cold winter days,and a good pot of coffee that warms the insides ! I know Ive been telling you how God has worked in our life growing up and even to this day . Im thank that even while going through our lives God always protected us ! I havent told you about my brother Joe ,he went through something terrible that happened to him personally . It was back in the 60s and me and my family was living in Baytown , Texas . My mother called me and told me my brother was in the hospital in critical condition ,my husband and I got the children ready and we drove to Savannah. Ga. We arrived in Savannah at night time and I was taken to my brothers room through the Emergency room , every thing back then was different from today . As I walked in ,there say my mother by his bed . Mother told me that Joe was at his work place and fell through the roof to the floor which was 42 feet below . He landed on his seat end and it broke his Back and legs and the Dr said a lot of things on the inside was crushed . The Dr . Worked on Joe and had to put a Screen in his legs to stop blood clots from going to his. Heart . My mother said that as she sat there Praying all of a sudden my brother sat straight up and began to vomit clots of blood ,my brothers back was broken and we didnt know how he could sit up but ,he did . My mother said that she was completely under his hospital bed praying ! The Dr said that my brother passed 7 clots of blood through his heart and generally people dont live if they pass just one . Im thankful to say that this brother is Now 78 years ,and hes going to church where the same Bro.Cecil Gray preaches at ! Im thankful that to this day our church back home has prayer service Every Tuesday morning and the entire Denmark family ( some of us have different names now ) names are in the prayer Box and prayed over every Tuesday ! Im thankful that Joe and I talk mostly every night ! We remember our child hood and Im so thankful that I have such good Memories ! I cant hardly wait to tell you about my daddys recovery from a stroke but, God willing thats for another day !!! Look up to the sky ,its beginning to rain !!! I love you all !!
