Day 16: It sounds like a cliche, but... you do sing about what you know about. And I grew up in a small town, and I grew up in a place where your whole world revolved around friends, family, school, and church, and sports. Kenny Chesney I was on the phone today ordering some books. We always have to use both our PO Box and our street address if we order something, as most companies do not want to take an order for a PO Box. I had to explain the the customer service rep that the PO Box was essential, even though they had a street address because we dont have mail delivery at our house. Every day one of us has to go the four blocks to the post office to pick up our mail. Nearly everyone knows everyone and many of them have been here for generations. In fact, youre still a newcomer until you have three or four generations buried in the cemetery. Many people still dont lock their doors. Its quite a contrast to the bulk of my pre-Wisconsin life when you were thankful that you didnt get mugged when you went to the store. So Im thankful for a small town.
