Day 165 You are clean! Col 1: 21 And you, who once were alienated - TopicsExpress

Day 165 You are clean! Col 1: 21 And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, 22 he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him,... Scrubbing is the most essential task in an operation... The surgeons and nurses would scrub their hands - every plane of the fingers, from the front and back hands, right up to the elbow with a brush and an antiseptic, to make one as clean as possible. Reason is to minimise any possibility of contamination in a surgery... Meticulously keeping the operating theatre as sterile as possible... Then we know we will never be sterile no matter how much time and energy is spent in scrubbing our hands, and still let it be living... The death of Jesus is to make us "holy," not by our own effort of making ourselves holy and blameless and above reproach... Through his death he declares we are clean before him! No matter how much dirt and evilness, hurts and scars we have accumulated, we are clean when we are reconciled with Him! Yes, no amount of therapy will be able to set us free from our past guilt and the consequences of it, only through the death Jesus, we are presented as holy and blameless and above reproach before him,... He pay it all that we may be made clean! We are clean before Him! Thank you Jesus for dying for our sins and set me free to live a life free.
