Day 174 - November 1, 2019 ELERT begins setting up shop in their newly remodeled HQ in the Los Angeles Harbor. Currently adjunct to the Marine Research Facility, the long term plan is to convert the current Federal Prison on Terminal Island to a secure facility. ELERT committee begins composing the different research teams. Currently, there is enough staffing for three analyst teams and one field team. The field team is prepped exclusively for the Biological Anomaly Investigation Team (BAIT). The teams start their introduction and orientation with the hopes of being active by the first of the year. Day 232 – January 20, 2017 ELERT gives its first congressional report to the Committee on Science, Space and Technology. It gives a rundown on their set up, current staffing levels and long term goals. The current large project is to analyze the new data coming from the Climate Investigation Project’s (CLIP) integrated satellite network.
