Day 176 of Keeping the Spirit; Have been having a hard time being positive at work lately. Since I try to be a positive person, I am cognizant of my impact on others, specifically the beautiful young lady who works directly with me. At one point today I turned to her and said, "I am so sorry if I am negative and complain too much. I will try to do better." She started to reply when the young man she was escorting (the same boy who has kicked a sheriff, thrown chairs, hit and attempted to bite others) turned and opened his arms to me for a hug. He gave me a beautiful gentle hug, wrapping his little arms around my hips. Then he looked up at me with his big baby blues and a smile to say, "There." I could only look at him in awe as the two of them walked out to go back to class. God I love my job!
