Doctrine of Christ – Jesus being God prayed more than us in the days of his flesh. His example was perfect and flawless and he demonstrated that no ministry can start or be successful without prayer being at the centre. He prayed before he ministered and he separated himself after working miracles almost immediately to go and pray. Hebrews 5 v 7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared. Let us develop an active prayer life that is spontaneous, dynamic and effective. Be creative in your praying and take the limits off your mind and be free to improve on the traditional approaches to prayer. You can sit, kneel, stand, lay on your face or sit on the throne and pray. Pray while washing dishes and the clothes and driving your car. You can pray for 30 seconds, 5 minutes, half and hour etc as long as you touch God and do it as often as possible. Pray in the Holy Ghost and seek to feel that strong anointing when you pray, reach for the mind of God and use back His word to Him. God will more remember what he said rather than what you said! So stop presenting a grocery list of items to him, he already knows your needs. Pray for something/someone other than your needs and watch God handle your business.
