Day 189: Sorry I didnt post yesterday, we had a very busy day and once I got Damien to bed, I followed. Raven had a great day yesterday and had a good night last night. No changes were made and she stayed at 37% oxygen on the CPAP. Today, Raven started out having a good day. Around 10:30 she started to get very irritable. She is not acting like herself at all and looks like she doesnt feel good. They turned her up to 41% oxygen to get her sats in the right place. She was breathing in the 120s and woke up crying uncontrollably, which is not like her at all. Her primary is going to see about getting a chest xray and some sedation medicine to help calm her down so she can rest. Please pray she isnt getting sick. This is how it all started last time she had to be reintubated. She has been doing amazing and an order was put in yesterday for her to be evaluated for her first bottle. Of course that is on hold for now because her oxygen requirements no longer meet what is needed to participate. She does not have a fever and isnt showing signs of being sick so far, but with her being a preemie infections sometimes happen before any signs show up. We are hoping she just needs some good rest and will be back to her normal self in no time. I will keep everyone updated if anything new arises.
