Day 19: We are called to not only “go” but to “share a message” The mission has to do with not only living a life that demonstrates the love and compassion and holiness of Christ, but also telling others what Gad has done in our lives. It means we must preach the gospel(good news) of what Jesus has done in our lives. Sometimes we try to live differently that the world, but never tell people what it is that has made our life different... namely Jesus Christ. How will they call on Him in who they have not believed? How will they believe in Him they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent? (Romans 10:14-15) 1 Peter 3:15 says, “Always be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.” Pray that God will raise a question in the heart of someone you interact with. Ask Him to give you the courage and the words to share with them why Jesus is the reason for the hope that you have.
