Day 2 34,52N 73,46W Good afternoon everyone. Conviction continues sliding along her course which my seem somewhat round about considering were trying to get to Bermuda. However with boats such as Conviction is we can sail a longer coarse, and yet get there sooner just by sailing that much faster. So we travel around weather systems rather than through them. Which also is a much dryer and more comfortable ride for us. During the evening last night we were treated to a pod of dolphin. about a dozen or so kept pace with us for a short time before getting bored and swimming off for other dolphin type entertainment. And weve started to see flying fish again. BUT, most important of all = its gotten considerable warmer last night. At least one layer has been, hopefully, permanently removed. And we smile knowing this trend will continue as we go south toward home. And Conviction herself seems to understand and is eager to get home. All night and day weve had some impressive speeds logged on the speedo. In 20 knots of breeze she will surf down a wave at 20 - 21 knots. And she does this with ease. The wheel is as responsive as you could wish for, and with the wind angles weve been sailing she a joy to steer. Other than a beautiful night and a stunning sunrise the only other thing to report is a malfunctioning tracker. We apologize for any fright or worry. We are still here, however our spot tracker is no longer working. Once we get to Bermuda we will have this fixed as we already have another ready to go. We just need to set up the links and all will be right. Once again were sorry for that, but we did not discover this until this morning. For the moment well say TTFN = Ta Ta For Now Conviction.
