Day 2: My second day of positive thinking challenge. I was nominated by Gretchen Lopez, a very dear lady to me and my family and now Liza Carbonera who is a dear dear friend to me. Indeed she is more like a sister to me and loved by my family as well. We have been through ups and downs but we stuck it out. She is always there for me even when we are thousands of miles apart. She never fails to make me laugh and encourage me when Im down. So grateful that my kids have a Tita like her who loves and cares for them very much. I always miss you gwaps. :) So today Im grateful for 1. My mom Eva who has and is still working hard to provide a safe home for us and to make sure that there is always food on the table. She is the most generous and hard working mom/lady I have ever known in my whole life. She always thinks about her children and her apos future and how she can help secure it. She never fails to help others esp those who are in dire need. Almost everyone can always count on her. God has bless her with so much because she bless others so much too. And I will always be grateful for all that she did to me and my kids. I will also treasure all the times she made milk for me every time I was home because she wants me to regain my strength and health. We love her so much! 2. Grateful to my sisters Mary Grace, Joy, Kristine Mae and brother Jiether. We are not a perfect family and we are still learning how to be good to each other...LOL! But we know that whatever happens through thick and thin, we will stick with each other, mainly because we have no choice..hehehe..joke! Grateful because even in our differences, we know we can count on each other, show our solidarity and love each other anyway...hehehe..3. Thankful for being able to adjust to our homeschooling schedules and roles and learn a lot about myself as a teacher to my own son. It wasnt easy at first but I thank God for His grace and mercy that I am slowly getting at ease with my role and for His strength everyday to make our lessons as engaging as possible. So now I like to nominate Nang Lisa Javellana Fedler, a woman with great faith, a loving wife, a great teacher and a worshiper. Im very grateful for all the times that you have encouraged me when I am in doubt with my ability to teach my kids on my own. Your encouragement has strengthened my will to homeschool JC. I nominate Vanessa (SteVan Baird), it was such a blessing to know you in ROL and even blessed to connect with you again here in US now that we have families of our own. I will always admire your perseverance, strength and courage to face all the adversities that you went through before you came here in US. God has indeed seen you through it and its a testament of how blessed you are today! We love you and josey! And last I nominate my first mentor and leader, Nang Chao Che Jereza, thank you for all the times, sweat and countless prayers and reading the Word together with you as you opened up your arms to disciple me during my first year in ROL. You taught me how to serve and lead with love and passion. I will never know God the same way I know Him now if you havent made the effort to reach out to me. For that Ill be forever grateful. I know youre all busy but if you can do this challenge and nominate 3 people everyday for 5 days, I know your encouragement will lift them up as it did mine. :)
