Animals are still indifferent to the departure of the Owner, this human is missing the company of fellow creatures of the human variety, and the other human is a lone wolf and doesnt care about the Abandonment, nor is he interested in conversation with me. A new tactic to prevent jailbreaks is being employed today, consisting of an early morning feeding of fresh crumble, water, and a few huge handfuls of seeds in the dirt to see if an adequate supply of food, water, and treat will keep the chicken population content. Aside from being hungry when it was feed time, the chickens maintain high morale. Raj is a miserable, lonely wreck who sleeps all the time as usual. Sam, Pat, and Max are indifferent to the Abandonment, Porky is still annoyed by her Abandonment months ago for Elvis, and Simba is restless and skittish, because hes been being punished for breaking rules and hes not being treated special any longer. Its the garrison commanders opinion that the fort can be held for 6 days before the humans go batshit and the animals begin to starve.
