Day 2 of the gratitude challenge: 1. I am grateful for my entire family! I am fortunate enough to have a large family, each of my family members are uniquely incredible people. Those that I have had the pleasure of knowing have contributed to everything good about me. They have supported me and loved me through the worst and best times of my life. They have accepted, protected, provided for and comforted me through more than I could possibly describe. They have inspired me to do my best, to always strive to be a better person and have forgiven me through countless mistakes and bad decisions. The newer family members have brought more love, kindness, happiness and hope to our family. I could go on endlessly and still not describe how lucky I am to have them! 2. I am grateful to have access to necessities, including but not limited to; uncontaminated food and water, shelter, clothing, electricity, sanitation and basic safety. Also, basic medical provisions, such as; antiseptics, antibiotics, immunizations, fever reducers, fluid and nutritional replacements and clean bandages. Many people around the world are not so fortunate to have these things available to help them prevent and recover from illness and injury. 3. I am grateful to have friends! My true friends accept me for who I am and care about me, even when they dont agree with me. They celebrate with me and mourn with me. A person is fortunate to have even one true friend in their lives, it is in this respect among others that I am a truly wealthy person! I have had many of the same friends for over 20 years and have several good friends that I havent known quite as long. I wouldnt want to leave anyone out, yet I feel compelled to mention Heather Arter, Zane Beagle, Matt Matejka, Jami Lyn Robbins, Sarah Phipps-King, Kebin Harle, Kevin Gorham, and Cricket Norie. Again this does not include everyone, there are some really amazing people that I have not mentioned, again my life is rich with wonderful people, some of whom I will likely tag at some point.
