Day 22 of Healthy Families! By sharing all of these success stories I have a slight fear that some people interpret our health program and Just a weight loss program. I am so excited to share that we are Far from that! Our goal is to lead our clients to a Healthy and Vibrant life! Weight loss is exciting but it is only the beginning! Creating health includes healthy body (weight and what your eat), healthy mind (handling stress and emotions in a healthy way), healthy finances (improves them as employees, employers, and entrepreneurs), and healthy in spiritually (walking in the gifts and talents given them as well as in confidence of who they were created to be.) The reason I wanted to share this today, is that there are some people who have slower weight loss then others, but that doesnt mean they are not successful. One of my clients - Rachael - has experienced a slower weight loss then some others. Often she would get down on herself thinking she wasnt being successful. Actually she is FAR more successful then she believes! It has been really cool to see her in the last 5 weeks start to believe it for the first time! I love the way way she has been Leaping over the obstacles that used to hold her back! It is so exciting to see! She is now walking past tempting situations and choosing to focus on how her healthy choices will give her long term success. She is incorporating Healthy Habits all around her! She now goes on walks with her family. They walked for 5 hours at a car show recently. In the past she wouldnt have even bothered going! Recently they went to the beach and she was out there with them walking. In the past she would sit in the car and watch, wishing she could join them. Her family is taking baby steps in eating healthier; joining her in how she chooses to eat. I love seeing how her family is participating in helping her be successful! Emotionally she is handling stress better by choosing to respond instead of react to the situations. She works through this by using the support of her coach (me), reading encouraging quotes or pictures and posting them around her to remind her, listening to support calls or encouraging music, and reading her habits of health book and emails. She is utilizing all of the support around her and as a result she is physically getting results! She has lost 12 pounds in the last 5 weeks!!!!! Rachael you are doing amazing!!!!! So proud of you and I look forward to the day when you see the beauty in you just like everyone around you sees in you! Now for those of you reading this post, no matter what program you use to get healthy I challenge you to create healthy habits at the same time. I am here to help you be successful long term.
