Day 25: I am thankful of God’s grace. God’s grace is neither permissive nor passive. The benefit of His grace is far more than escaping the judgment I/we deserve and has a greater purpose than freeing me/us from the burdening sense of personal guilt. It is God’s creative tool designed to transform and reshape how we see the world and others. Grace is an aspect of God’s divine character that is designed to free us from the trappings of self centered emptiness and compels us to be messengers of grace. Grace is God’s standard of measurement that validates our value and significance. It is obviously undeserved. God’s grace is another of God’s sweet paradoxes of truth. In order to embrace it, keep it and savor it we must be willing to give it all away. Lord, I pray give me your grace so that I can respond to others in the manner you have responded to me. You know me Lord better than I do myself, so you understand when I confess that I need to grow in grace and knowledge of you. Help me Lord because I am unable to be grace without you. Amen.
