Day 277: I ran. To be more than halfway there. To cross the line...to take it to the bridge. Somewhere in the waves you find your direction...you fix your eyes on a point and you paddle, you paddle hard. My friend told me yesterday... Stay straight, Jess, stay the course. You see... The waters will swell, rapids will shake your board...they will breech the surface where you stand, but if you balance yourself, you can paddle out to calmer waters...the waves are unaware. You have to believe that you can, and you are more than half way there. There comes a time when you discover you dont have to weather the raging rapids just because they are there...you take strength in your journey and you paddle out.
