Day 28- LAST DAY OF TREATMENT!!! Addy did amazing for her last treatment. They had the desk and her room decorated for her with streamers, balloons and a special banner. After she was finished we went upstairs to ring the bell. She had been looking forward to ringing the bell since before she even started radiation. We said our goodbyes to people who went out of their way to make us feel at home while we were there. We are so thankful for everyone there that took great care of our sweet girl. We could not have asked for better people. We left for home as soon as we were finished celebrating. We hit stand still traffic about 45 minutes from home and sat there for 3 hours waiting for traffic to move because of a wreck. Addy was so ready to make it home. After about 9 hours for a 5 hour trip we made it home late last night. We were all glad to finally be home and get back to our home in Tennessee. Thank you to each and everyone of you who have been there for us through this. We cannot thank you enough. We are so thankful to be finished with Addys radiation treatment. We will go for a scan in 6 weeks at Vandy. Please pray for our sweet girl that the side effects from the radiation will be minimal. Thank you all again for your prayers and support.
