Day 28 of 365 Hands Off and Let God Work Genesis Chp. 16 & Chp. 30 I read both of these chapters and really couldnt grasp a clear message until I went through something yesterday. As some of you know I have been applying to start my PHD and I know that this is something that God has given me in a vision and a promise, but I didnt know how God was going to do it. So I was faithful and applied and pressed through and did everything I knew how to continue. There cam a point yesterday when I needed something that I couldnt readily produce myself and this scripture came to mind. How it relates is that in both situations, Abraham and Jacob were given promise, but barren women or situations. God in it was taking them through a process where they could no longer perform and God had to transform and change some things so that ONLY God could get the glory. You see neither Abraham, Jacob, you or I in all of our greatness cant do what God can so we have to take our hands off of the situation and let God work. You see too often are we glory seekers and want to do things in our own might, but its not that time. God is calling us as people of faith to step back some times and trust God. So when you are pursuing something that God has given to you and God allows an seemingly immovable block to be placed in your way, just pray and wait. God will handle the rest!!! #SRT
