Day 287: I began cleaning out the closet to get rid of things I no longer wear nor need. While reaching to the back I brought out a pair of berkenstocks. Upon closer inspection I realized they were mothers shoes. She sends me reminders every so often. I am positive she watches over me and questions my decisions as if she were physically here. So I lift a glass of makers mark and say yes mother. Then I do what I was planning to do in the first place.
