Day 3 - Today started well with Michael & Tim finishing 2nd in Stage 6 of the COT, 3rd in Stage 7 and 1st in Stage 8. Things were looking promising until about 26 klms into the 9th Stage when the car stopped and they appeared to have done a diff in their Celica. It was a long day for everyone with Service Crew 1 moving on to Cobar while trying to source parts (which they eventually did in Dubbo) and Service Crew 2 driving back to retrieve the car from the Stage 9. Everyone finally got back to Cobar and work is still progressing on the car. Hopefully they will get the car back on the road for tomorrow. Peter and Ken have been consistent in all stages and are adapting to the challenges ahead of them. They have had a few minor problems with their vehicle but these have been well managed by their new Service Crew.
