12 days post surgery and our son is doing so much better. Pain meds that were 4-5 hours a part are now about 8-10 hours a part. Appetite is returning. Sleep can be a challenge but hes listening to his body and resting when he needs to. His sense of humor is coming out more now that the extreme pain is ebbing. As a parent, you sometimes feel like your holding your breath for your loved one to be okay. Today two of his friends came over to visit him and play video games. Feels good to see him visit and enjoy his company.
